Hi we are staying at Pop Century in May. Check in is at 3pm, is it possible to drop our luggage before check in and head to the park on our day of arrival?

! Hey there, Jaime! Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney with your question. Your trip to the most magical place on earth is just right around the corner, I bet you are getting so excited.

Jaime, I have great news for you. The Bell Services team at Disney's Pop Century Resort will be more than happy to store your luggage for you when you arrive. If your room is not ready, just head over to the Bell Services counter which is located outside of the lobby at your resort. The Cast Member helping you will count the number of bags you'd like them to store and then give you a ticketed receipt for you to hold on to. If you have any items that need to be refrigerated, they can do that for you as well. You'll just need to point out the items that need to be kept cool. When you return, you can either pick up your luggage from the same counter you dropped it off at or if your room is ready you can head straight to your room and give them a call. They'll bring your luggage to your room within a few minutes of this phone call. This is a complimentary service to you, however, I always like to tip the Bell Services team. They work really hard and always do a great job, of course, this is completely up to you just something to think about and maybe budget for.

On the day of your arrival, you are able to enjoy all of the amenities that Disney's Pop Century Resort has to offer. You don't have to wait until 3:00 p.m. (check-in time) to enjoy the pool or food court and shopping areas. On our arrival day, we typically get there right around lunchtime. I always plan an afternoon by the pool while we wait for the text message that our room is ready. If you plan to go to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, after you drop your luggage off, you'll be able to use the complimentary transportation to get to wherever you are going.

Jaime, if you plan on visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios or Epcot during your vacation, don't forget that you can take the new Disney Skyliner to those parks from Disney's Pop Century Resort. The Disney Skyliner is basically a ride in itself. Whimsically themed gondolas whisk you off to your destination with a birds-eye view of some of the Disney resorts.

I hope you have a wonderful time staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort during your Walt Disney World vacation. If you have any other questions before you go, I'd love for you to come back and ask me. I'm here to help! Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
