    We are staying at the Pop Century but the main pool is closed for refurbishment. Therefore can we go to the Art of Animation pools to swim?

    Hi Juliana! Thank you for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. First of all, congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!

    While the Hippy Dippy Pool at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be closed for refurbishment, I am happy to tell you that you can still make a splash at both the Bowling Pool and Computer Pool which are still on the property.

    Typically, Walt Disney World Resort hotels are to be used by the hotel’s registered Guests only. In fact, you’ll find that many of the Disney Resort hotel pools now have a gate with a MagicBand access point attached to it. This means registered Guests of the hotel must scan their MagicBands in order to open the gate and enter the pool area.

    However, I will say that sometimes with refurbishments, Cast Members may make an exception. Upon check-in I would certainly recommend asking a Cast Member at your resort.
