    Staying at Pop Century. Made breakfast reserv's for 8 at Hollywood & Vine in HS. Park opens at 9. Since buses don't run that early, can we walk there or do we need a taxi? Have a 2 yo & don't feel like taking a carseat 4 the taxi. How much $ for ta

    Hi Theresa.

    You're correct in that buses to the parks generally begin operating 1 hour prior to park opening.
    A taxi may be your best option at that hour, unless you are able to change your ADR for Hollywood & Vine to a slightly later time to avoid needing to do that. I don't want you feel unsafe traveling without a car seat and understand your dilemma.

    I would definitely recommend that you check with the Front Desk at Pop Century the night before your planned breakfast. They will at that time know the earliest operating bus and may be able to give you a tip on the best way to get there without needing a taxi. The great news is that Hollywood & Vine is just a hop, skip & a jump inside the HS front gates ... so once you get there, you'll be at your reso in no time!

    If Epcot by chance has early hours that day, and you have a Park Hopper, you may be able to get to Epcot and through to the International Gateway to take the boat to Hollywood Studios. Just explain to a Cast Member your dilemma regarding a car seat and the early reso, and they will do their very best to help you out. If your best option does end up being to take a taxi, you can plan on it costing approximately $15 + tip.
    If requesting a taxi through a Cast Member out front at Pop Century, ask them to request a van that's equipped with a car seat as that may be an option also.

    Be sure to grab yourself a delectable Carrot Cake cookie from Writer's Stop during your day at Hollywood Studios ... my favourite indulgence in that park. YUM!
