We're staying at Pop Century and looking at some of the breakfasts that are not at theme parks such as Chef Mickey and Boma and would prefer reservations early (during the 7am hour). Is it possible to get there without a car if the parks open at 9am?

    Hey Heather-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I absolutely love, love, love Chef Mickey’s. Being in the Grand Canyon Concourse of Disney’s Contemporary Resort while dining on omelets, pastries and of course Mickey Waffles is always a trip highlight. We can’t wait for our hugs from Mickey and the rest of the “Fab 5” in their chef attire. Expect your dining experience to last about 60 minutes so you can eat and meet these wonderful Disney personalities. Have your cameras, permanent markers and autograph books ready for some big smiles.

Disney Transportation buses many days will begin shuttling Guests to the Theme Parks around 6:30 a.m. for early dining experiences but this is not a guarantee. If you want to make sure you arrive at your early dining experience on-time then I would suggest a taxi. They are usually waiting curbside at your resort to take you anywhere in the resort. The fare should be between $10-$20 which is a very small fee to be worry free.

Getting to Boma at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is more challenging by bus and will take longer because you will need to transfer at a theme park or Downtown Disney Marketplace. This could take an hour of travel time. A taxi would be best in this scenario for early morning travel.

If you are set on taking the Disney Transportation bus, then speak with the concierge at Disney’s Pop Century Resort about the bus schedule during your visit.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
