Mermaid School would be back by popular demand beginning in March. I imagine all young Mermaids-in-waiting were flipping their fins with joy! But our world has changed quite a bit since then and to quote my dour but insightful friend Sebastian, "The human world, it's a mess".
Currently Mermaid School has been paused, but I see your travel dates are about a year away so it's possible more attractions will be reopened by then. A great way to keep up to date with all the "Magical News", including the
phased reopening of Walt Disney World, is reading the
Disney Parks Blog. As your vacation date draws nearer, you can also call the phone number listed in
Enchanting Extras Collection to find out the status of Mermaid School. If Mermaid School has resumed, a Cast Member can let you know which Disney Resort hotels will be hosting it and how to go about making a reservation.
