Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Demery!
Your stay at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is just a few months away, and I know just how excited you’re getting. I stayed there with a bunch of my girlfriends last year, and we got such a kick out of the giant icons and symbols from the different decades throughout the resort. It’s totally rad!
Everything POP Shopping & Dining is a fantastic food court, with so many options available, including my very favorite Disney snack, the iconic Dole Whip. You’re not going to want to miss the Tie-Dye Cheesecake available in the dessert section – it’s a fan favorite. To wash it all down, complimentary ice water is available, and individual bottles of water can be purchased from the refrigerator section.
As for cases of bottled water, your mileage may vary. I’ve found that sometimes cases of water are available in the merchandise section, or sometimes near the refrigerated cases. Your best bet is to ask a Cast Member if there are cases of water for sale. Sometimes, the cases are kept in the back, and a Cast Member or Manager can get one for you if available. In my experience, a case of bottled water costs between 7 and 8 dollars; prices and availability vary and are subject to change.
Demery, another option is to order groceries to be delivered to your resort hotel room. Amazon Prime Now and Garden Grocer are both popular options; my dear friend
Ashley shares all the details and lots of great tips about grocery delivery at Walt Disney World Resort hotel in this helpful answer. For my family, grocery delivery is a great option, because we like to have snacks to bring in to the theme parks as well as breakfast items to eat in our room as we get ready in the morning. It’s a great way to save money and time!
Complimentary ice water is available at most Quick-Service dining locations, so my family usually brings our water bottles with us. We fill them up with ice water in the mornings and then refill throughout the day at water fountains or bottle refill stations. We drink a ton of water on our Walt Disney World vacations because the Florida sun can be strong, and with all the walking and snacking, it’s important to stay hydrated so you can pack in as much fun and magic as possible!
ChEARs to a wonderful – and hydrated – vacation!
