Staying at Pop Century in Jan.09. Want a king bed but know it might not be possible. Anything i can do to better my chances in getting a room with a king bed?

    Hi.
We will be in WDW in January as well!

A room with a King bed is considered a preferred accommodation. First, you will need to book and pay the extra rate for a preferred room.

Preferred rooms offer king beds and/or a closer location to the resort's amenities.

When you book your reservation, note on your reservation your request for a king bed. If your travel agent booked the trip, the agent can also have this noted on your reservation.

Also please note that some (not all) of the king bed rooms are handicap accessible. They will have a roll-in shower rather than a tub/shower.

At Check In, you will want to mention your request again.
