We are staying at Pop Century, and our flight will land at 7:30am. Which is technically, 3:30am for us west coasters. is there anywhere we could hang out at the resort before our room is ready in case the kids need a nap. Quiet corner? Poolside?

Hi Andrea! Yikes, it looks like you are taking the red eye flight but that is great as you get to spend more play time at Walt Disney World.

Check-in time for all Disney resorts is 3pm but you can check in at any time but just not get to your room. So when you arrive to the Pop Century Resort early that day head straight to the front desk and get the check-in procedure completed. Please let them know that you have been on a flight all night from the west coast and if you are willing let them know you will take the first available room that is ready. This might mean a building or area you had not requested but having a room right away is nice. The Disney resorts will do everything they can to get you settled quickly.

If you do have to sit around and wait for the room there is a waiting area just off the lobby. It is not necessarily quiet but you can find a spot and settle in there. You can of course use the pool areas as well and go to the food court for a bite to eat. Even if you haven't gotten to your room once you check in you are a guest of the resort and you can enjoy all the amenities it offers.

Let's hope for some extra pixie dust and magic to get you your room early the day of arrival!
