I am staying at Pop Century. If I want to drive to the parks each day, do I have to pay separately to park at each park or am I covered by the parking fee I pay at the hotel?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Jessica. Thanks for stopping by to chat about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

Disney's Pop Century Resort is so much fun. I love all of the iconic tokens all around the resort. It brings back so many memories. Be sure to have your camera handy because there are some really great picture spots there.

Because you are a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will receive complimentary theme park parking at all four of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. When you pull up to the parking attendant booths at each park, the Cast Member working will need to scan your MagicBand, Keys to the World card or your phone to verify that you are a resort hotel Guest. This takes just a few seconds and then you'll be on your way.

Jessica, I always drive myself to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. I like to be in control of where and when I go somewhere. The parking lots of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks typically open anywhere between 45 minutes and 1 hour prior to the theme park's scheduled opening time. I am an early bird when it comes to hitting the theme parks so I like to be there right at the one-hour early mark. Typically this gives me a great spot in the queue until the attendant booths open up. Once you park, don't forget to take note of what row and parking lot section that you are in. The parking lots are so big and it is easy to forget after a long day at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. I like to text it to the travel group that I am with just as a reminder. Another thing I like to do is pack a small cooler full of bottled water to leave in my car. After the long journey back to the car it can be nice to have something refreshing waiting.

I hope this helps, Jessica. If you have more questions about this, or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'd love to help.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
