We're staying at Pop Century and have breakfast reservations one morning at MK before opening and at the Yacht Club early morning. Are there buses that are fast to these places or should we drive? We will have our car with us. Is there close parking?

    Hi Liz!

I love to enjoy breakfast at one of the Magic Kingdom restaurants before the theme park opens. It is an amazing experience to enter the theme park before the majority of Guests can enter and there are generally Disney PhotoPass photographers who can take your picture on Main Street U.S.A, with Cinderella Castle in the background. While complimentary resort transportation buses generally begin one hour prior to theme park opening, there are also usually early buses available for Guests with pre-opening breakfast reservations. I generally plan to be at our bus stop one hour prior to our reservation time to ensure we have plenty of time to travel to Magic Kingdom and enjoy a leisurely trip through the park to our reservation. I recommend that you call your Walt Disney World Resort hotel front desk the day before your breakfast and ask for the next day's bus schedule to Magic Kingdom for Guests with early breakfast reservations. This will allow you to ensure that a bus will be available early enough for your reservation and will give you a good time estimate of when a bus will be arriving.

When traveling to Magic Kingdom from Walt Disney World Resort hotels via bus, I generally recommend using complimentary resort transportation buses rather than taking your own car. The buses will drop you off right at the entrance to Magic Kingdom, but if you drive your car you will need to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there, you will need to take either a monorail or ferryboat to the entrance of Magic Kingdom. As long as there is a bus scheduled early enough for your reservation, I think the best way to go is with the wonderful bus transportation from your resort.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
