We will be staying at Pop Century and we have breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey's. Is there a bus from our resort to the TTC? We would like to ride the monorail to the Contemporary.

Hi Amy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. There’s nothing better than planning a vacation to Walt Disney World and I’m glad that you asked this question regarding transportation as it’s one of my favorite topics.

Rather than heading toward Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), you’ll want to head from Disney’s Pop Century Resort to Magic Kingdom Theme Park. From there you can either walk over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which would probably be the quickest route, or you can hop onboard The Walt Disney World Monorail System for direct transportation to your breakfast reservation as there’s nothing like arriving to breakfast in style!

Depending on what time your reservation is for, you’ll want to keep in mind that The Walt Disney World Monorail System typically opens 30-minutes prior to the earliest park opening and ends one hour after closing, while Disney’s Bus Transportation runs 45 minutes prior to opening and ends one hour after closing.

On the rare occasion we’ve caught a bus a little earlier than 45 minutes prior to park opening, but who can blame these Cast Members for getting an early start, they work at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

If you have any other questions please let us know. Otherwise, be sure to tell Mickey I said hello!
