We are staying at Pop Century and have an 8:45 breakfast reservation at Cape May Cafe... will we make it there in time with the buses? Someone suggested renting a taxi because it is so close, is that a possibility?

    Bonjour Melanie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

To answer your question, yes, you can make it to your 8:45 a.m. breakfast reservation at Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort (my favourite character dining breakfast location!) using Disney's Complimentary Resort Transportation. They have buses running as early at 6:30 a.m. for guests with early morning dining reservations. The best way for you to get to Cape May Café at that time would be to take a bus from Disney’s Pop Century Resort to another Theme Park and then get on another bus to take you to Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

HOWEVER, although Disney Transportation is a truly amazing (and complimentary!) way to make your way around Walt Disney World Resort, I’ve found that calling a taxi is the way to go for my family when we have early morning breakfast reservations at another Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. In order to do so, simply go to your Resort's main entrance and ask Bell Services to call a cab that will fit your entire party. Because I would recommend leaving your hotel no later than 7:00 a.m. in order to make it to your breakfast reservation on time, taking a cab would allow you to sleep in a little bit more…which will always be my first choice!

Finally, another option would be to ask a Cast Member at your Resort’s Concierge Desk if they can offer offer you any other suggestions about how to get to your early morning dining reservation. During some of the busier times of year, sometimes Disney Transport will run special buses that will allow Guests to go directly to Resort in which they have a dining reservation. It never hurts to ask!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
