We are staying at Pop Century and I have booked a breakfast at Chef Mickeys for 8:20 how do we get there and what time should we leave our resort?

    Hi Melissa!

Chef Mickey's is one of my family's favorite Character Dining experiences. We love the tasty food choices on the buffet and my kids love to visit with Mickey and his friends during our meal! Be sure to save room for dessert because you will find an amazing selection of sweet treats to enjoy during your meal!

Since Chef Mickey's is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, transportation to and from the restaurant is really convenient. To get from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Chef Mickey's, you will want to take a complimentary resort transportation bus to Magic Kingdom. From there, you can either take the Resort Monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort or just walk along the walking path to Disney's Contemporary Resort, where you will find Chef Mickey's on the fourth floor.

Generally, complimentary resort transportation begins 45 minutes prior to theme park opening, but I have found that buses generally begin earlier to accommodate Guests with morning breakfast reservations. I recommend that you call the front desk at your hotel the day before your breakfast to get the bus schedule for the next morning. I would plan on catching a bus that departs around 7:20 a.m. so you have plenty of time.

The other option for your breakfast transportation is the Minnie Van Service. This service works with the Lyft app to provide personal transportation, by Disney Cast Members, around Walt Disney World Resort for a fixed price. Since the Minnie Van Service will provide private and direct transportation, I would recommend booking your Minnie Van at 7:30 a.m. for your breakfast.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
