Hello! We are staying at Pop Century in August. Would it be possible to walk over to Art of Animation and use their pools? Thank You!

    Hi Katherine!

The Pop Century Resort at Walt Disney World is actually my choice in the Value category. I love its location and love the layout of the resort. It includes a great lobby area and Food Court and has its own buses to each of the parks.

Although you will be able to walk over to the Art of Animation Resort you will not be able to use the pools there. Disney keeps a closed pool rule for the resorts which allows for the pools to not become over crowded. All pools are now enclosed with fencing and are closed when life guards are not on duty. To enter you must show you are a guest at that resort.

The Pop Century Pools are very nice and my favorite is the one shaped as a bowling pin. The fun details they added to all of the themed pool areas is incredible. They offer great places to relax and enjoy the warmth of the Florida sun or take a dip to cool off after a long day in the parks. Because they have three pools at this resort you can use a different one each day or simply hang out at the one closest to your room. I am sure you will find you won't need to head anywhere else to find some good fun in the sun and water times.
