Staying at Pop Century April 21-May 3 for our 5th time. How would I go about asking for a particular builging at this resort? I realize there are no guarantees but would still like to ask. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Jan!

I'm so happy to hear you have an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I see you're a fellow fan of Disney's Pop Century Resort. I love Pop Century and have also stayed there multiple times. Whether for a quick getaway with my kids or a girls weekend, it's comfortable, convenient and doesn't break the bank!

If you'd like to request a particular location for your resort room, you have the ability to request a certain section when you complete your online check-in on My Disney Experience. You will be able to make two Room Requests.

    Your choices will be:
    • Ground Floor
    • Highest Floor
    • Upper Floor
    • Lake View
    • Landscape View
    • Lower Floor
    • Near Elevator
    • Near Transportation
    • 50s Section
    • 60s Section
    • 70s Section
    • 80s Section
    • 90s Section
Most often I'll choose "Near Transportation" and "50s Section". (I just love those giant bowling pins!) Once, I selected "Lake View" because we had some friends staying across the lake at Disney's Art of Animation. It ended up being a short walk to the bridge that connects the resorts!

Disney is typically very good about granting room requests when possible. On the day you arrive, it's likely you'll receive a text or email telling you your room is ready, and your room number. With your MagicBands, you'll be able to bypass the front desk and go straight to your resort room. Your MagicBand will serve as your room key! If you'd like to request any changes to your room location at that time, you would need to stop by the front desk and speak with a Cast Member.

I hope this helps with your planning. Best of luck with your online check-in and room requests. I hope you get the perfect resort room for your vacation! - Diane W.
