Staying at Pop Century. Does anyone know if the self serve washing machines still use quarters or is it all by credit cards now? Thank you.

    Hi Christine,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about self-service laundry facilities at Disney's Pop Century Resort. I just stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time. It's definitely my favorite value hotel at Walt Disney World Resort.

Guests can use a credit card or debit card to pay for the use of the washing machines and dryers at Disney's Pop Century Resort. The machines are no longer coin-operated. You can also purchase laundry detergent using a credit card or debit card.

Did you know that you can set up your washing machine and dryer to send you a text message when your load of wash is finished? And, if you're trying to decide which of the three laundry rooms you want to use at your home resort, you can use the Laundry View Monitoring System to see which laundry room currently has the largest number of empty machines. Don't you just love when technology makes everyday chores easier?

Enjoy your stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
