We're staying at Pop Century and have ADR's for breakfast at Be Our Guest for 8:30. What is the best way to ensure that we are at the Magic Kingdom on time or with a little time to spare for an uncrowded pic on Main St? :)

    Hey, Casey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love Disney’s Pop Century Resort and highly recommend a stay. In fact, it was our first "home" away from home.

Disney Transportation buses from Disney Resort hotels, most days, will begin shuttling Guests around 6:30 a.m. for early dining experiences. Speak to the Disney Resort hotel concierge the day before your dining experience to firm up the details.

When you get to Magic Kingdom Park you will see a Cast Member with a clipboard checking Guests for early dining reservations or tours. You will be directed to a line (typically on the left side) and wait until they open the theme park between 7:45 a.m. and 7:55 a.m. just for these Guests. General admission will not begin until the theme park officially opens at 9:00 a.m. if there are no Extra Magic Hours.

The Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland is tres bien. Last October we had 8:05 a.m. dining reservations and the meal was worth every bite. Our table of four took Lumiere’s advice and split the Croissant Doughnut. Yes, a fried doughnut covered in a banana-caramel sauce; taste buds meet perfection.

Once inside, the light crowds provide a perfect opportunity for special photos of Cinderella Castle, buildings on Main Street, U.S.A. and attractions in Fantasyland. Recently, early dining Guests who have finished their meals have been able to jump aboard the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train before the theme park opens and sing “Heigh Ho!" with Doc and the gang. Talk about magical.

Disney Dad Tip: I would try and be first in line by arriving about 75 minutes before park opening for great photos of an empty park. You could also take an Uber or taxi. The fair will be around $15.00.

Susan, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
