    We are staying @ Pop Cent. the week before Easter. We have reserv. @ TCP @ 8:35am I know it will be a busier week. How long does it take to get from our resort to MK? How early should we plan to leave to make our reservations? Thanks

    Hi Mary!

    Thanks for your great question. I know that trying to figure out the transportation and how much time you need to allow can be confusing. The bus ride from Disney's Pop Century Resort to the Magic Kingdom takes about 25 minutes. This is travel time only and does not include time spent waiting for the bus. If you are driving, you will need to drive to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and take either the ferry or the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom. This process can take about 35 minutes. Again, this doesn't include idle time waiting for the transportation. Please keep in mind that these are estimated times and can vary based on traffic and crowds.

    Transportation will begin running approximately one hour prior to park opening. You can also check with guest services at Pop Century and inquire about the special Character Meal bus that is often available to guests with early morning reservations prior to park opening. The departure times can vary depending on the resort, so be sure to ask guest services.
