We're staying at Pop & bringing Disney giftcards, for spending money. I know, we must link a credit card to bands, for charging purposes; but, can we, also, load them w/our giftcards at check-in & use that for purchases, before it begins charging o

    Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you for your great question! Using MagicBands to make purchases at Walt Disney World Resort really simplifies things. You are correct that your Disney Resort Hotel will need to have a credit card on file in order for you to make purchases with your MagicBand.

At this time, Disney Gift Cards can't be linked in the same way. However, you can always stop by the Front Desk at your Resort to make a payment. And if you are hoping to stay within a daily budget, you can also set a daily spending limit on your MagicBands.

If you plan to stop by the Front Desk every couple of days to pay your balance using your gift cards, you should be good to go!

Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World adventure, Elizabeth. Hope to see you real soon!
