We will be staying at Pop in April but want check out some of the other resorts. We already have ADRs for Boma and Ohana so AKL and Poly are already covered. Which of the other resorts should be on my must see list?

    Hi Julie,

You have definitely picked two of the best resorts to visit and dine at!  Boma is our favorite buffet-style restaurant.  The lobby at Animal Kingdom Lodge is incredible, so be sure to "look up" when you enter.  Victoria Falls Lounge overlooking Boma is a great place for a before dinner cocktail.  Finally, after you eat, step outside and stroll through the walking paths for some great animal "sight seeing"!  Ohana is also a blast.  The cast members do a great job of entertaining kids, including hosting a parade where kids sweep coconuts around the restaurant with a broom.  It's a blast.  You will leave VERY full!  The pina coladas are served in huge pineapples and are on my "favorites" list!

As for other great choices, Wilderness Lodge has a wonderful lobby with a flowing brook and bridge inside.  Artist Point and Whispering Canyon Cafe are both excellent options.  Finally, the Contemporary has three great, albeit very different dining options.  Chef Mickey's is "the" quintessential character meal on property, the Wave is a brand new, very modern restaurant on the ground level that I recently ate at and thought was fantastic, and finally, California Grille is regularly reviewed as one of the best restaurants in Florida.  Securing a table to coincide with the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom is a wonderful way to end a perfect Disney day!

    Have a great time!
