We're staying at Pop w/ annual passes & DDP. We have breakfast at GF the 1st day. If we're running late, would it be possible to check-in to Pop at GF so we can use dining credits for the meal? Also, can we leave our car at GF if we're going to MK aft

    Hi Debbie,

In order to begin your Disney Dining Plan, you will need to check-in to the Pop Century where your package benefits will be given to you.

Upon arrival at the Grand Floridian for a dining reservation, you'll typically be given a three-hour parking permit, therefore parking at the resort is not advisable if you will be touring the Magic Kingdom after your meal. I'd caution that the Grand Floridian's parking lot is a lengthy walk from the main building.

I would check into the Pop Century as early as possible, then drive to the Transportation and Ticket Center where you can catch the monorail to the Grand Floridian for your breakfast. If you think your timing will be late, perhaps you could reschedule your Advance Dining Reservation for a later time so that your family can start your vacation in a more relaxing fashion.

Soak up the magic and enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World! If you think of any other scenarios that might work for your first morning and want to run them by us, just let us know!!
