    We're staying at the Polynesian and would like to use a water taxi to Downtown. Looks like DD is accessible from POFQ, POR, Old Key, and Saratoga. Is there a ferry from Polynesia to one of those? Also, can you take a stroller on th water taxi. Thanks!

    Great questions.

    While the Monorails tend to get all of the attention, I'm a huge fan of the water launches that help guests get around Walt Disney World. They're relaxing and offer unique views of the property.

    As for your first question, unfortunately there aren't any water launches that take guests from Disney's Polynesian Resort to Downtown Disney. Instead, the easiest way to get there would be to take one of the complimentary buses from the hotel's bus stop. 

    If you want the experience of riding a boat to Downtown Disney, you can always take the boat (or the Monorail) from the Polynesian to the Magic Kingdom, then walk over to the bus stop and hitch a ride on a bus headed to either Disney's Port Orleans Resort, Disney's Old Key West Resort, or Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. From there, you can catch one of the ferryboats over to Downtown Disney.

    As for your second question, you are certainly welcome to bring your stroller onto the water launches. Depending on the size of the vessel, you may have to fold it up before boarding. 

    Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

    When you board one of the water launches with your stroller, make sure you keep a tight grip on any items that may be attached or hanging off of the stroller. Otherwise, they may fall into the water as you make the transition from the dock into the boat.

    (Yep, I accidentally deep-sixed my wife's jacket into the Seven Seas Lagoon one time when I was carelessly slinging the stroller onto one of the water launches!)
