If we are staying at the Polynesian Village Resort but were not able to secure an advance reservation to eat at Ohana, will we be able to eat breakfast or dinner there, since we are hotel guests?

Aloha, Melissa and mahalo (or thank you) for stopping by planDisney!

Melissa, can you believe that Disney's Polynesian Village Resort just celebrated its 50th anniversary along side Magic Kingdom Park? With recent renovations, this resort looks better than ever and I'm so excited you'll get to experience the enchantment of the South Pacific.

Now, Melissa, any great hotel stay includes great food, so let's talk about 'Ohana. I'm sorry you haven't had any luck securing an advanced dining reservation. I will encourage you to "go the distance" and keep trying. Guests' plans change all the time and you never know when availability will pop up. While I can't guarantee this, I have had great luck finding previously unavailable tables the week prior to our trips.

If that strategy doesn't pay off before check-in, I recommend using the Walk-Up Availability feature on the My Disney Experience Mobile App! The quickest way to join the Walk-Up list is to search for 'Ohana using the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen. Once you've found the 'Ohana home page through the Mobile App you should see an estimated wait time under the description and a blue "Join Walk-Up List" icon.

Melissa, I hope this helps as you're planning ahead for your December vacation. If you have any other questions please come on back to planDisney. Wishing you a pixie dusted visit.
