Hello, Karen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I love answering your question because the studios at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are my
absolute favorite type of room at the Walt Disney World Resort. I
love them!
It's important to know that there are two different types of "standard rooms" at this location because there are two different properties that share the same common areas, pools, and
yummy restaurants. Let me break it down for you.
The first rooms I'll talk about are Studio Villas. They belong to a property named
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows that's adjacent to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. They all have a kitchenette with a microwave, a sink, a toaster, and a coffee maker. They also feature two (yes, two!) bathrooms, a comfy queen bed, a queen-size sleeper sofa bed, and a single pull-down bed. They are so large that they're currently the biggest standard-type rooms at the Walt Disney World Resort!
To stay at these fantastic Studios, you can either book them like you'd
book a regular Disney Resort Hotel or use
Disney Vacation Club points. Either way, you will not regret it!
The second type of room you'll find at this location belongs to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. These rooms offer one bathroom, two queen beds, and one day bed, but they do not have microwaves, toasters, or a kitchenette. They do have Cuisinart coffee makers that work with single-serve pre-filled coffee filters that look like tea bags, though. These rooms are gorgeous, airy and very spacious, too!
No matter where you're staying this February, Karen, you will find shampoo, conditioner, soap and hair dryers, so there's no need to worry about that. The only thing you
will worry about is how to live without them when you go home. They smell so good that you will want to feel like your "vacation self" all the time!
I hope that you have a wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resort this February! If more questions pop up before your visit, please, come back to our website. It's always a pleasure to help!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
