Aloha, Lori! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You are certainly going to enjoy your stay at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! My family and I just stayed there in June, and we loved the island ambiance, delicious restaurants, and convenient
monorail access of this resort hotel. There is something wonderful about every
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, but if I had to choose my favorite, I think I would have to go with Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Unfortunately, access to Walt Disney World Resort Hotel swimming pools is reserved for guests staying at that particular property. Although you will not be able to bring guests to the pool, you can certainly have them join you to experience the amazing
restaurants and lounges at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
'Ohana is one of my family's favorite Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. Whether we visit 'Ohana for the Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch or a Polynesian-style dinner feast, we always leave happy (and extremely full). If you'd like to enjoy a drink along with some fun and entertaining surprises, stop by
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is also home to
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. This dinner show is a great activity for large groups, so be sure to make a reservation for you and your guests. Did you know that Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of the few places in the Walt Disney World Resort where you can find the famous Dole Whip? Be sure to visit
Pineapple Lanai with your guests to try this tasty treat.
In addition to all of the great restaurant and lounge options at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the beaches at this resort hotel are also a wonderful spot to watch the
Electrical Water Pageant and the
Happily Ever After Fireworks. Your guests are welcome to join you on the beach to take in these spectacular shows.
Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
