We're staying at Polynesian 8/19-22. Relatives from Orlando want to have dinner w/us on 8/19 (pizza pref.). 6ppl total, including 4&5yo kids. They are driving in & won't have park tickets. Where can we eat that is casual (w/o reso's)? Thanks!

If it were me, I would head for Downtown Disney, Melissa.  There is a great, casual restaurant there that serves yummy pizza (along with other menu items).  Wolfgang Puck Express (not the Wolfgang Puck Cafe) is located in the Marketplace of Downtown Disney, tucked back in a corner near Disney's Days of Christmas shop.  The food there is very good and the ambiance is super casual, though still very modern and upscale.  You needn't have reservations (in fact, you can't make reservations) so it's not a bad idea to arrive at an off-peak time, especially if you're trying to secure a table for a larger party.  We make sure to visit there multiple times during each trip and have never regretted it.  Enjoy!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
