We are staying at the Polynesian and have Park Hopper tickets. How easy is it to hop between parks? Does it take a lot of time? Also, how long is it reasonable to expect that we should allow to get from the resort to the parks?

    Hi Hedy!
It could not be any easier to hop between the parks. All you need to do is exit one park and head to the next. For example, when leaving Magic Kingdom to go to EPCOT, you can exit MK and take either the ferry or the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center, and from there, you would simply hop on a second onorail to get to EPCOT. Depending on which park you are going to, it can take a bit of time and you should factor that in. For example, I probably would not hop from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom as that could take upwards of an hour, factoring in all wait and travel time together.
As for timing, the monorail from your resort to Magic Kingdom is only two stops and will take about 6 minutes once your onboard. The monorail from the TTC to EPCOT is about 15 minutes, and buses from your resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are about 15-20 minutes and 20-25 minutes, respectively. It is all so easy with the Disney Transportation System. Leave the driving to them, but plan the minutes that I mention.
    I wish you a Magical trip!! :)
