We are staying at the Polynesian, but our parents are staying at a hotel off site. Can they visit us at the Polynesian for lunch and to visit with the kids?

Hi Melissa!  Yes of course your parents will be welcome to come for visits to your resort and room. When they arrive at the guard gate they will need to provide photo ID (one) and then tell them they will be visiting their family. The guard might ask for the name. They can also say they are dining at the resort and then give the name the reservation is in.  I find it is easier and faster if they also say they will be valet parking because sometimes the big issue is the lack of spaces available in the self park lots.  Spending the $12 is worth the lack of hassle and time!
