Hi, We are staying at Polynesian on New Years Eve, is the Electrical Water Pageant on that night? And how crowded will the beach for the fireworks later?. Our flight is at 7pm, and dinner is 9.45pm, too tight to get a good spot? Is beach standing only?Txs

    Hi Deirdre,

It sounds like you will be welcoming the New Year in style!  I can't imagine a better place to celebrate New Year's Eve than at Walt Disney World Resort.  After looking at the Park Schedule, I can confirm that the Electrical Water Pageant will be running on New Year's Eve.  Given your dinner reservation, you may not see the Electrical Water Pageant, however you won't miss the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks.   Please keep in mind that performances and times are subject to change.

In the past, I have found the beach to be crowded on New Year's Eve, however, it has never bothered me because I have always had a clear view of the sky, even with large crowds.  My family and I have been able to sit on the beach to enjoy both the Electrical Water Pageant as well as the Fireworks, and if you are very lucky, you may even get a lounge chair or comfy hammock.

I hope you have a magical New Year's Eve Deirdre.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as your special evening approaches.  I would be happy to help!
