Hi Billie!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! Your magical vacation is right around the corner - are you so excited? I'm happy to help.
In 2020, Walt Disney World introduced a Theme Park Reservation system, requiring guests to book their park visits in advance. This system ensured entry on the reserved date with a valid theme park ticket.
I have good news! As of January 2024,
date-based tickets, like the ones you're planning to purchase, no longer need reservations. Now, during your ticket's validity period, you have the freedom to explore any of Walt Disney World's four theme parks without a park reservation.
You can choose from:
While you're free to choose your park on the go, having a plan is a great way to maximize your time in the theme parks. Remember to book Advance Dining Reservations up to 60 days before your visit to enjoy some delicious meals during your stay!
If you'd like to check to see which parks offer
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for Disney Resort guests, you can enter your travel dates on the helpful
Hours and Events Calendar on the Walt Disney World official website.
I hope this helps with your plans and preparations for your upcoming vacation!
