Staying at the polynesian how long should I plan with buses to get to animal kingdom ?

    Aloha, Rebekah!

You're going to LOVE your stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I stayed there with my family recently, and we absolutely loved it. From the moment you step into the Great Ceremonial House, you'll feel immersed in Pacific Island culture. The gorgeous architecture and landscaping make you feel like you've stepped into a tropical paradise! When it comes to dining at your resort, nothing beats a delicious dinner at 'Ohana or a Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai by the pool.

Polynesian Village is on the monorail line, which offers speedy service to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. You can also take a water taxi to Magic Kingdom or over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. When traveling to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, or Disney Springs, buses are provided for your convenience. The bus stop is across the driveway from the Great Ceremonial House - just head out the lobby doors and you'll see the bus waiting area across from the valet stand.

I usually recommend guests allow at least 45 minutes for travel from your resort to any of the theme parks. Buses typically run every 20-25 minutes, so it's never a long wait before you're off to experience a day of fun at Walt Disney World Resort! Make sure to allow the full 45 minutes when traveling to Animal Kingdom Park, as it's located a bit further away from the Polynesian Resort than the other three WDW theme parks.

I hope you have a magical time on your vacation. Mahalo! - Diane W.
