We are staying at the Polynesian Island Tower next month. Our flight arrives early and we are hoping to stash our luggage at the resort and go to Disney Springs. Is there storage at the Island Tower or do we have to go to the main Polynesian lobby?

Hi Teresa, and welcome to planDisney!

I’m excited to hear about your upcoming stay at the new Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows! What an exciting adventure awaits you at one of the most iconic resorts in Walt Disney World. From enjoying a refreshing DOLE Whip at Pineapple Lanai to relaxing by the stunning Lava Pool or even hopping on the monorail for a quick trip to Magic Kingdom, the Polynesian offers endless magic for every family member. I know you must be eagerly counting down the days!

Since the Island Tower is so new that not many of us at planDisney have had the luxury of calling it home, I spoke with a friendly Cast Member on your behalf. While the new Island Tower is brimming with state-of-the-art amenities, check-in and Bell Services remain centralized in the main building, the Great Ceremonial House. When you arrive, simply drop off your luggage with Bell Services there, and they’ll take care of everything while you head off to enjoy Disney Springs. It’s a seamless process, designed to make your day as carefree as possible!

Once you have shopped till you dropped at World of Disney and you’ve returned home to the Island Tower, be sure to explore its new offerings, including its gorgeous pool area featuring Moana and exciting dining options like Wailulu Bar & Grill. For an unforgettable evening, I can’t recommend grabbing a cocktail from Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace and heading down to the resort’s beaches to watch Happily Ever After. With a cool breeze, music piped in from the park, your toes in the sand, and the fireworks lighting up the night sky over Seven Seas Lagoon, it’s truly a magical way to end your day.

If you have any more questions as you prepare for your visit to The Most Magical Place On Earth, don’t hesitate to visit planDisney. Whether you’re looking for dining recommendations, tips for planning the perfect monorail resort hopping experience, or a guide to the best snacks in the parks, I’m here to help!
