Hi we going to be staying at the Polynesian (garden view room) and have a questions about longhouse. I understand there are 2 monorail stops at the Polynesian, longhouse that is close the monorail, is quiet and has a great view. Any recommendations?

    Aloha Tony!

Actually, there is only one monorail stop at the Polynesian Resort. However, the Ticket and Transportation Center is right next to the resort; and it, too, has a monorail stop. When we have stayed at the resort, we sometimes would use the latter monorail stop because it was closest to our longhouse.

Our favorite building is Tokelau, which is centrally located.  It is next to the quiet pool and a short walk to the main building where the monorail is located. It is also a short walk to the bus stop at the resort. But what makes it even more magical is having a first floor room that does NOT face the pool.  While these rooms are garden views, you simply need to step out onto the patio and turn to your left to see the castle! The views, otherwise, are peaceful and lovely as they look out onto the tropical gardens.

If you'd like to explore in detail all of the longhouses, www.tikimanpages.com is a comprehensive website on everything and anything you'd like to know about the Polynesian Resort.

Please let us know if we can help again and have a magical trip!
