Staying at the Polynesian the first week in May. I'm trying to decide which building to request for our stay. 2 adults & 5 yr old . We would love to see fireworks and use the pools, but transportation to Magic Kingdom & Epcot are important

    Hi, Sarah!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question. Disney’s Polynesian Resort is one of my favorite hotel choices…it’s like a bit of tropical paradise right in the middle of The Most Magical Place on Earth!

The Tahiti longhouse is next to the Transportation & Ticket Center and close to the quiet pool, although it is a bit of a walk to the Great Ceremonial House. Rooms to the north have lagoon views, and some of the rooms face Cinderella Castle. The Samoa longhouse is directly between the two pools and very convenient to the Great Ceremonial House. It is also a quick 5-minute walk to the Transportation & Ticket Center. Rooms to the west face the Volcano Pool, and rooms on the eastern side have garden views.

Keep in mind that while the Walt Disney World Resort is glad to note specific longhouse requests and every effort is made to fulfill them when possible, no room requests can be guaranteed. I hope this helps, Sarah, and that your family enjoys a wonderfully pixie-dusted vacation. Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
