We'll be staying at the Polynesian in Feb. 2017 and will arrive before the 3:00 check-in time. Since our room may not be ready, can we begin our vacation anyway and use our Magic bands to dine at the restaurants, use the pools, tour the grounds, etc.?

    Hi Jennifer!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am happy to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and you are going to love staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! My family stayed there for our vacation last fall and it is truly an amazing resort. Even though check-in time is at 3:00 p.m., you don't have to delay the start of your Disney vacation. You can use online check-in prior to your vacation to expedite your check-in process. This will also allow you to setup text notifications so you can get a message when your hotel room is ready! I like to make a stop at the check-in desk at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort right when I arrive, even if I have completed online check-in, to ensure that my MagicBands and pin number are working correctly. If you have any bags, you can check them with Bell Services so you don't have to worry about them while you are having fun.

Once you are all checked-in, you can enjoy the incredible pools at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, spend some time exploring the amazing grounds at the resort or even touring the other monorail resorts, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resort. This is also a great time to check out Disney Springs, which offers amazing dining and entertainment options for the entire family!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
