Aloha, Emily, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you stopped by with your coffee query--you've got a friend in me, and I'm here to help make sure you can be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
One of my very favorite conversation topics is
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. I’ve been coming “Home” to this OG Walt Disney World Resort hotel since 1981 and it just so happens to be our
Disney Vacation Club Home Resort. I always make a point of checking out the coffee situation in advance whenever we’re headed to The Most Magical Place on Earth so I can keep my husband caffeinated and happy!
When we visited last month, our Studio had a standard coffeemaker and we were supplied with some filter pods of Joffrey’s brand coffee and an assortment of sweeteners and other coffee accessories. If you prefer a Keurig coffeemaker, there may be some available. You can request an alternate coffeemaker or additional supplies from Mousekeeping via the
“Hey, Disney” device in your room. We spent some time exploring the features and it’s a great source for all sorts of information about the parks, as well as trivia, jokes, and even bedtime stories!
I will say that we often opt to outsource our coffee at the Polynesian, as
Kona Island, a quick-service spot on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House, offers great coffee that you can
mobile order to start your Disney day with that all-important jolt of java. The press pot of Kona coffee is fantastic, and I also had a great oat milk latte one morning!
Emily, I hope your Walt Disney World vacation is practically perfect and that you can savor the “bare necessities” of a tasty cup of joe in the morning and a nighttime viewing of the
Electrical Water Pageant during your stay at the Polynesian. Thanks again for visiting planDisney and please stop by again anytime if we can help with additional questions!
Stay Magical (and caffeinated)!
Susan
