We are staying at the Polynesian this coming week with our 2 year old daughter! 1st visit to Disney! Building Suggestions? Someplace with a balcony- maybe a view-convenient for Magic Kingdom & the pool but without a crazy amount of noise?

Hi Karra - I just came back from the Polynesian a few weeks ago, and we absolutely loved it!  I hope that you enjoy your vacation there also.

We stayed in the Tahiti building.  Although we had a garden view, you can also request a castle view, if that's the type of room you've reserved.  Our room was extremely quiet, but the best part is that it was such a short walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you can take buses to Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios and the monorail to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom.

If you want a balcony, you should request a third floor room.  The first floor has a patio, and the second floor doesn't have a balcony.

    Have a great vacation!
