Hello, Rudolf. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I am so excited for you and your upcoming trip.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is an incredible place to stay. It's one of my very favorites. When I visit
Walt Disney World, for the most part, I always drive. I love having the flexibility of just hopping in my car and going, whenever I feel like it. I think you'll be happy to know that in all my years staying at
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, there has always been a parking spot for me. I visit every year over Christmas, the busiest time of year, and still have been able to park - no matter which resort I might be staying at. I wouldn't worry about that at all. There is plenty of parking for resort Guests. In fact, Guest staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort receive priority over parking spots if it looks like the lot is filling up. Day Guests visiting for dining reservations and whatnot must first stop at the security gates before being allowed into the resort. If it seems busy, security will actually send those Guests over to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and have them ride the
monorail over to the resort to make sure there is room for you to park.
Even when I am not staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, I make it a point to head over there to enjoy a meal or a cocktail at one of the fun bars located in the hotel.
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is a fun spot to spend some time in the evening, if you get a chance. The theming of this lounge is amazing and there's even a mini show put on for each drink on
the menu. If you order the Shrunken Zombie Head, for example, your server might put on some googly glasses and limp your beverage over to you, and don't even get me started on what happens if you order the Uh-Oa! That one you'll just have to find out for yourself. If you are looking for a fun, family-friendly lounge to spend an evening in, this is your place!
I hope this helps ease your mind about parking Rudolph. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
