We are staying at the Polynesian in August. Is it possible to ask for a room upgrade at the time of check in? Like to club level? Do they ever just give those out? haha

    Hello Katherine!

Thanks for writing.  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my absolute favorite resorts on property.   As soon as you enter the lobby and are adorned with a flower lei, you will forget that you are in Central Florida and think you are about to enjoy a South Pacific adventure.  Be sure to spend an evening watching the nightly fireworks from the Magic Kingdom from the beach on site, as the music is piped across the property, making it such a wonderful place to end a night.  In addition, don't forget to watch the Electrical Water Pageant directly from your resort.  It is a charming parade of illuminated sea creatures that is an absolute delight!

You are certainly welcome to request an upgrade, however, as you can imagine, Walt Disney World is an incredibly popular destination for visitors, especially during the summer months.  Realistically, an upgrade is not likely in my opinion.  My recommendation is that guests interested in concierge-level accommodations should request them at the time of booking to ensure that their selections can be guaranteed.

Regardless of specific room, you will have an incredible vacation!
