Hello Katherine!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my favorite resorts for a day off from the parks. It's a bit of island heaven. You can take a dip in the Lava Pool, which has a zero-entry that I love for little ones. You can also stop by the Pineapple Lanai for a Dole Whip!
If you want to go exploring, then hop on the monorail and take a ride. Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of the stops where the monorail actually goes through the hotel. You can jump off and take in the magnificent views of Magic Kingdom Park or grab a bite to eat at
Chef Mickey's! That's my kids' favorite Character Dining experience with Mickey and his pals.
If you're not too tired from all that excitement, then take a water taxi over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground from Disney's Contemporary Resort. They have a
playground and at night you can join
Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long.
If you want to stay close to home at night, then watch the fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Check with a Cast Member on the times each night. There is no shortage of activities for families all around Walt Disney World Resort.
If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon. Have a magical vacation!
