Staying at Polynesian in Apr. 2017 wonder which building is the nearest to the lobby and monorail. Samoa or Rarotonga? i want to be the closes to the main building. Thanks

    Hi Monica,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

We were lucky enough to get to stay at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort a few months ago and we absolutely loved it. You and your family are in for a real treat. We wanted a room close to the Great Ceremonial House too and we were assigned a room in Rarotonga. We were thrilled because I think that we had to walk maybe 10 steps from our building’s door before we were inside the main building. If proximity is what you’re looking for, then I would definitely request Rarotonga for your family’s upcoming vacation.

Please note that, while Walt Disney World Resort will make every effort to honour your family’s request, there’s a chance that you may not be assigned in the building of your choice due to availability, refurbishments or some other reason. If you have any concerns, please ask the Cast Member who will be assisting you with your Resort Check-In.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
