We are staying at the Polynesian 3/1-3/6/10. Are we able to view any of the fireworks from our hotel by the water, to avoid the crowds with a 2 and 4 yr old?

    Hi Kathy,

The Polynesian is a beautiful resort!  Our family stayed there recently, and we had a great time - travel to and from the Magic Kingdom & Epcot was super convenient.

You'll be able to view Wishes from the beaches of the Polynesian.  It's great!  Your kiddos can already be in their pajamas as you watch the show, and you won't have to deal with the crowds as everyone rushes to return to their resorts at the end of the night.  If you happen to have a room with a Castle view, you'll be able to watch it right from there - the music is available on one of the TV stations in your room.  Check the information card when you arrive for more information.

Be sure to catch the nightly water pageant that floats by as well.  It's a fun, whimsical floating light show.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
