Hi Melissa, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
First and foremost: eeeeeeek! You are arriving at Walt Disney World
today! You might even be there RIGHT NOW! I’m so, so excited for you and your family.
You mention a kitchenette in your room at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, so I’m going to assume you’re staying in the Villas in a
Deluxe Studio room. If that’s the case, you will find some paper products in your room, and when you need those replenished, you’ll be able to contact Mousekeeping using your room phone to request more. If you’ll be in a Standard Room, you should be able to purchase paper products in your resort’s gift shop should you need them.
My family just got back from a stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and we found paper bowls, cereal, and milk in our resort’s gift shop. Like you, we like to eat breakfast in our room before heading out to the parks, and this was a great way to start our days.
If you’re feeling like a sweet treat one morning, Melissa, I highly recommend planning a stop at
Sleepy Hollow, located right at the base of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom Park. Their Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich is a giant, soft, and warm waffle topped with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread and bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. It is truly decadent and one of my favorite Disney treats – and it is awesome paired with a cup of coffee. At your own resort, the Tonga Toast at Capt. Cook's is also legendary, and I love the Macadamia Nut Pancakes at Kona Café.
Melissa, have the absolute best time at Walt Disney World this week!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
