I will be staying at the Poly and plan to attend the Hoop De Doo review. Do you recommend taking the boat (or monorail) to MK and then taking the boat to Ft. Wilderness from there? Or should I just stick to the buses?

Even if you walked over to the nearby Transportation & Ticket Center and took a bus to Fort Wilderness, you'd still have to get on one of its internal buses to get to Pioneer Hall on the opposite end of the resort from the bus stop.

I'd keep it scenic: take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and then the boat transfer over to the fort. From the pier, it's a 3-minute walk up to Pioneer Hall.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
