Staying at Poly next week with 9yo girl and 13yo boy, very excited!! We have our masks ready! Anything else we should know? Will Kona and Captian Cooks be our only food options or can we take monorail to BLT? THANK YOU!!!

    Aloha Amanda!

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

How excited you must be to be visiting Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows! It’s one of my absolute favorite resorts at the Walt Disney World Resort! So much so that we made it one of our Disney Vacation Club Home Resorts! My family and I love the laid back feel of the South Pacific. There’s nothing like that island feel you get when you visit and we like to call it our little piece of tropical paradise.

I’m so glad you brought this question to us here today. At Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, you will currently enjoy Kona Cafe, Capt. Cook's, and Tambu Lounge as your main dining options. You can get your favorite frozen treats at the Pineapple Lanai and all your favorite cocktails, non-alcoholic specialties, beer and wine at the Barefoot Pool Bar. As you can see you’ll definitely find something for everyone. For all of the latest offerings at the resort, check the Know Before You Go section before and during your trip.

You’re more than welcome to hop on the Disney Monorail to enjoy more dining options at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa. You must have a reservation at the select dining options at these two resorts. Security is really strict at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian & Spa because the hotel side of the Resort is currently unavailable. So if you’re planning to visit make sure you make your Advanced Dining Reservation on My Disney Experience and let the guards know you have one when you get there.

Well Amanda, I hope this information finds you well and do me a favor. Make sure you have at least one Dole Whip for me on your trip.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
