We are staying @ Poly & have magic express service but rented a car also. Do we take the express service to the rental co or take the magic express to the hotel and get the rental car later? What about our luggage? Hope you can answer me.

    Hi Alaine,

The Magical Express Service will only take you from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to your WDW Resort, so this all depends on the location of your car rental company.  If you have rented a car from the Orlando International Airport (MCO), then you will bypass the Magical Express Service offered and go directly to the car rental agency at the airport.  There are only a few "in terminal" locations for car rental agencies at the airport and for those you will be able to "walk to" in order to retrieve your rental vehicle.  If they are off-site, then they will probably offer shuttle service from the airport to the rental agency location, you will need to contact them for more specific information on their shuttle services and where to access them.  If this above scenario is the case for you, then you will need to collect your own luggage before retrieving your rental vehicle (DO NOT PUT YOUR MAGICAL EXPRESS TAGS ON YOUR SUITCASES IF YOU ARE COLLECTING THEM YOURSELVES!).  These luggage tags let the Disney cast members know that your suitcases need to go to a Walt Disney World Resort and they collect them "behind the scenes" so you will not be able to retrieve them.  The Magical Express Service must be used by you in order to have the luggage sent as well (you cannot do a one way transfer for your luggage only!).

If the location of your rental agency is somewhere in Downtown Disney, Lake Buena Vista, etc.....then you will take advantage of the Magical Express Service to the Polynesian Resort (MAKE SURE LUGGAGE TAGS ARE PUT ON YOUR SUITCASES HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR LUGGAGE TRANSFERRED TO YOUR WDW RESORT!) and you will need to find out if you can get a shuttle service to your rental agency by calling them directly (many of them will pick you up at your resort).  I hope this helps and if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask us here on the Moms Panel.

    Have a magical day!
