Staying POLY 12/5-12/12. 1 Dining ADR undecided. Spending day at MK, dinner at Kona Cafe, Whispering Canyon Cafe, 1900 Park Fare? Boys 7, 5, & girls 3.5 & 18mo. Planning ADR for CRT & 1900 PF bkfst. Which would be most enjoyable for all?

    Hi Jennifer,

Your decision is a tough one.  All of these restaurant choices are great; however, my first choice would be Whispering Canyon Cafe.  I really think your boys, especially, will enjoy this restaurant.  It's just a fun atmosphere -- even while waiting for a table.  There is a huge table with Lincoln Logs, and sometimes my kids get so involved in building that they forget about how tired and hungry they are.

There are all kinds of games and antics that kids can participate in with the wait staff, from pony races to helping guests get ketchup.  Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of those restaurants that my kids ask to go to on every trip to Walt Disney World.

If you can't get a reservations there, my next choice would be 1900 Park Fare.  The Step Sisters are really funny!  Kona Cafe would be my last choice.  The food is great, but sometimes the service can be a little on the slow side.  That's okay when you're dining with a group of adults; it doesn't really work with 4 children in the party.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
