Hiya Samantha!
Welcome back to planDisney! It's been a while since we heard from you and I'm glad to see you here again!
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is such a lovely resort. It smells so good and has some of my
favorite restaurants on Walt Disney World Resort property. One of my favorite things to do when arriving at the Resorts after a long travel day is eat some food and hang out by the pool. Sometimes, I even head to
Disney Springs for some shopping and a delicious dinner! To access the amazing volcano-themed pool you may need your Disney Band on hand so make sure it is linked to your
My Disney Experience Account. (Disney Bands are what MagicBands are called internationally) If you have trouble accessing it, just head to the Front Desk to resolve any linking issues. All of your luggage can be kept with Bell Services if your room is not ready and there will be plenty of towels and a space to change by the main pool. The changing rooms are located in a cave area by the waterfall. (Yes, I said "cave" and "waterfall" because this Resort is a bit of paradise.) If you can use the
Online Check-In service there is a great chance of having your room ready shortly after you arrive. I have been pleasantly surprised on my last few trips with how many times my room was ready as soon as I picked up my luggage from Orlando International Airport. I hope you are just as lucky!
This past trip I enjoyed delicious drinks and food from
Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace while relaxing on the beach with friends. It was the highlight of my trip and a relaxing moment in an otherwise active trip. Make sure you find those moments of peace amid all the fun.
I hope you have a fabulous time and if you have any more questions please feel free to
let me know directly.
Happy Planning!
