Staying at POFQ-want to eat at Cape May.What is the best & fastest way to get there?

    Hi Carol,

Aside from taking a taxi, to move from resort to resort you need to use a park as a hub.  For example, I'd take your resort bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios then take the boat from there to the Yacht/Beach Club where the restaurant is located (the boat launch is located off to the side in front of the park); in fact, you can even walk to the resort, but it is a longer walk. To be safe, I'd allow an hour for travel time.

The other easy way to get there is from within Epcot; in the World Showcase between France and the United Kingdom, there is the International Gateway entrance/exit that guests can use.  From there it is an easy walk to the Yacht/Beach Club or you can take the boat if you'd like to rest your feet.

Now one thing I have to point out, I am answering this as if you are going for dinner.  If it is an early breakfast (before the parks are open), WDW has buses that help to transport guests early in the morning -- sometimes even going from resorts to resorts.  I'd check at the front desk of Port Orleans to confirm this is happening on the day you need it just to be safe.  Otherwise, buses will be running to DHS before the park opens, so you may be able to use the above plan just as easily.

I hope this all makes sense, and please let us know if we can help you further.  And if you are heading to Cape May Cafe for dinner, please enjoy an Oreo bon bon for me please!
