We are staying at POFQ, can we walk over to use the pool at Riverside during our stay? Or would we be better off spending the day at BB? Also, we are coming Sept 17-24....what's the weather usually like then? don't know what I would do w/out you all!!

    Hi Adelle!

Thank you for the compliment!  As a guest of Port Orleans French Quarter, you can definitely use the pool at Port Orleans Riverside.  Personally, I think the pool at Riverside is much better, but I have two active boys and that statement is really based on the fact that Riverside has a really nice water slide, while the water slide at French Quarter is for very young guests in my opinion.

That said, Riverside is just a pool, while Blizzard Beach is a full blown water park.  It a nutshell, Blizzard Beach is awesome.  If you have teenagers, they will definitely enjoy Blizzard Beach more than the pool at Riverside.  My children always want to visit either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach on every trip to Walt Disney World.

With regards to the weather in September, it will still be warm and can actually be hot.  The normal high is 90F and the record high is 98F.  The normal low if 81F, but it can get down into the 60s at night.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
